There are many products on the market today that are marketed as “organic” or “natural”. However, not all are what they seem. In order for a product to be considered purely organic it must have been approved by one of the certified regulation agencies and stamped with the term Certified Organic.

“Organic” means the product has been produced in a safe and healthy environment, using natural fertilizers without synthetic pesticides or additives. The cattle are fed only pure organic feed, have access to acres of open pasture, and ranchers are restricted in the use of antibiotics and hormones.

The Certified Organic designation is not easily obtained - not every product can boast the term and Diamond Willow ranches work hard to exceed every expectation that comes with being a Certified Organic beef operation.

The Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA) is an accredited leader in the organic movement. It certifies thousands of farmers and processors from 19 countries in North, Central and South America and the Pacific Rim. The OCIA organic certification is a rigorous, impartial and transparent process that ensures the OCIA requirements have been met according to their Standards Manual. The strict procedure is the consumer’s assurance of organic purity and integrity. The OCIA stamp of approval is recognized around the world as a high-quality organic product.
